Yoga is great for the body, but it isn't just a workout routine.
It’s a way to pause, reconnect, and restore balance.
What I Believe
Things are dysregulating right now, by design. The constant onslaught of hate, discrimination, and violence every time you open your phone, burnout from the relentless push to keep producing beyond your capacity, personal trauma, generational trauma - it’s overwhelming. When we tend to ourselves and our nervous systems, we’re better equipped to deal with life off of the mat. We step into the world on the right foot, leading with love, compassion, and clarity. By prioritizing mental and physical health, establishing habits and routines that align with our values, and collectively striving to become the best versions of ourselves, we begin to change the world.

Over 25 Years of Practice
I began yoga at the age of 12. I will always be a student.
About Me
My journey accidentally began with the 90’s fitness VHS tapes that my mom would buy. One of them was called Yoga Zone and I fell in love. I so enjoyed how the poses felt, I was intrigued by the fun hippie vibe, but the stillness of savasana made the biggest impact on me. It was magical. I did that practice every day for months, and revisited the tape for years.
After about 25 years of home practice, I felt a nudge to deepen my understanding through yoga teacher training. The introvert in me hesitated, but my husband, ever supportive, encouraged me to go for it. Then the universe did its thing: a training was starting that very weekend. I took it as a sign and registered.
Today I'm a certified Heart-Centered Yoga Teacher and Trauma-Informed Practitioner, currently in Yoga Therapy school, with additional training in Gong and Sound Therapy.
I am Mom to three children, a cat, and dog. I have entirely too many hobbies - currently they are gardening, cooking, interior decorating, reading, admiring cats, making fancy cakes, and finding lovely places to eat in Austin with my husband. I am also owner of my pet care company, The Mindful Pet. In past seasons of life before babies, I was a saltwater aquarium hobbiest and painter.
